Hi, I'm Ravi Parmar, the founder and developer behind Consignment Shops Directory. As a passionate software engineer with a background in Computer Science & Engineering, I created this platform to help people discover amazing consignment shops, thrift stores, and resale boutiques across the United States.
My journey into sustainable shopping began when I realized the environmental and economic benefits of buying second-hand items. However, I often struggled to find quality consignment shops in new areas I visited. This personal challenge inspired me to build a comprehensive directory that would make it easy for anyone to find great consignment stores near them.

The consignment and thrift shopping industry has seen tremendous growth, yet finding quality stores remained a challenge. Existing solutions were fragmented, outdated, or limited in scope. I wanted to create something better:
